Retromercial: Three Smart Daughters (1940)

This commercial is a lot of fun, just look at what they made. This one works for me since I just got a Singer sewing/embroidery machine. Does anyone have one? If so I've got a question or two. Enjoy the film.

Oh darn! The sound is pretty cool, let me know how it turns out when you try again. You should make videos, we all could use your shared knowledge! I would download all your tutorials!

I love the dresses but I guarantee that I couldn't walk through the door and sew one...

Burning question: Why did the sewing machine salesman come to their house when they could have just gone to the Singer center? Was he on some sort of nefarious mission? Where is their chaperone?

So funny. Hilarious descriptions of the girls. "First off, look at Betty. A trim, tiny, tasty tidbit, she." Fun!!!
