Favorite Friday - Moms afghan

My mother made this crochet afghan to give to me as a wedding gift (married in 2000). The interesting thing about it, aside from it's obvious beauty and the patience required to make it, was that it matched my dress and Victorian theme perfectly, cream and roses. I love the three dimensional rose work, made with love, it's one of my favorite things.

P.S. I've got the Converse animation link up now. Click here. Hope you like it.

OOOO what a pretty afghan!

I love the converse animation, I love those sneakers but they dont love ME(bad feet) so I got fake ones at payless with a tiny bit of a platform on the bottom(flat shoes hurt me!)

Thanks Monica, and thanks for checking out my animation.
Each foot is different! My husband has feet like yours, mine are the opposite when it comes to long distances. But, you can't beat those Payless prices!

Awww, you are such a dear, the wedding was of course the best day of my life but also a lot of fun. It was at a place called the Baker Street House a restored 1888 Victorian registered historical landmark. It was so beautiful and full of antiques, lace, roses and the promise of my wonderful future! Which has been fulfilled!
