Sweet sentiments
Isn't this the sweetest little handmade card? It was made for me by my sponsored child who resides in Bangkok, Thailand. He is actually my second sponsored child as I've been doing this for about nine years now.
I really like the dimensions of the card, long and thin, it makes it interesting. It feels like he used pastel chalks for coloring, while the inside is full of Christmas cheer.
You know it's snowing it Seattle right now! "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...." The picture you see is what my backyard looks like right now.
Does anyone have any idea why Blogger isn't loading images in a new window but has a pop up instead?

that is a sweet card.
is your sponsored child through an organization? i'm interested to know...for cascalheira, brazil.
Hi Jessica, yes through the Christian Children's fund, by choosing to sponsor through them I knew that they had a reputation that I could trust would benefit the children. You have a really great idea there, let me know if you come up with something.
You got such a lovely card. Its very touching that he has done it just for you. Maybe you will see him some day? Your backyard is like a postcard.Hmmm love it!
Your backyard looks like my backyard - except you may have gotten a bit more snow?
Love you my sweet friend.
A most glorious card and greetings.
Love and smiles across the miles.
I had no trouble loading images myself..............Love Jeanne

By the way, that's a gorgeous picture of your backyard. Today, in southern California, it was 85 degrees, if you can believe that! :) I'll trade you.
what a cute card!! so sweet!! Love the pic of the snow! Hasn't the weather been crazy here in the northwest?
It's snowing here too! that's so sweet that you sponsor a child - what a sweet card.
Beautiful picture of your snow.
I like the idea of a thin, narrow card rather than the traditional sized/shaped cards.
What a sweet card and your backyard looks beautiful and christmas-y.
Wow,
The picture of the tree looks like a postcard. Wish you'd send some of that snow to Atlanta!
Best wishes~
Cathy
