Shoe bag

Here we have a two sided drawstring shoe bag. I made this bag in anticipation of the next nanotech conference I will be attending. My feet are small enough that if I pack an extra pair of sandals or thongs they will fit into a glad bag, but if they are tennis shoes or other they won't. So I decided to make this bag that can be used over and over again to keep both my shoes and the surrounding clothes in my suitcase protected. The other nice thing about a cloth shoebag is that you can wash it! This is the first time since before my husbands chemo and stem cell transplants that we will be able to go back to the conferences, so we are very excited. He's getting a bag too : )

Shoe bags are such a nice idea and much better than the plastic bags I usually use - might add this to the list of things I need to try - yours looks great!

That fabric is so cool. I have never been organised to own a shoe bag, we usually sling the shoes into the back of the car last minute when we remember them, so I am in awe of your organise-ed-ness (oh yes, and I'm inventing new hybrid words!). well done!!
